drive&park is een ervaren parkeeraanbieder met 2 parkeerterreinen in Düsseldorf. De parkeerplaats in Düsseldorf Lohausen is zeer groot en zeer goed onderhouden. Hier is plaats voor maximaal 900 auto’s. De transfer wordt uitgevoerd met een shuttlebus en de parkeerplaats is 24 uur per dag geopend.
Shuttle parkeren
Wanneer u kiest voor de shuttleservice, rijdt u op de dag van uw reis direct naar de parkeerplaats in Lohausen. Daar wacht u voor de ingang totdat een medewerker u ontvangt. Een medewerker wijst u vervolgens waar u kunt parkeren. Daarna wordt u direct met de shuttlebus naar de luchthaven gebracht en uiteraard aan het einde van uw reis ook weer opgehaald. De shuttlebussen van de aanbieder zijn comfortabel, voorzien van airconditioning en bieden voldoende ruimte voor uw bagage. Houd er rekening mee dat de transfer voor maximaal 4 personen is. U neemt uw sleutels mee op reis.

Ik ben al jaren bekend met deze parkeerplaats. Het is een fijne, niet overdekte, parkeerplaats. Vriendelijke ontvangst en de transfer verloopt soepel. Nooit lang wachten.

Vrij krappe parkeerplaats en shuttle is niet altijd duidelijk dat deze naar Lohausen gaat, omdat Drive&Park meerdere locaties heeft. Iemand die vóór ons kwam uitchecken was ingeparkeerd.
Entrance of the parking is not really well indicated, but the address is precise and your navigation system can guide you there. Parkings are a bit on the narrow side, they state 2.2m which is okay to park but not to exit the car, I was afraid the SUV next to me would have scratched my door (I have a VW golf, not the widest car). On a Saturday morning , waiting was okay, with people in line at a good minibus with spaces for around 15 people showed up with a waiting time in my specific case of around 15 minutes (okay). The problem was on the way back: I correctly arrived at the indicated location where there is a mess, no lines people jumping in the street, people complaining trying to jump in the various shuttles of the different companies. I called the number and I was told to wait, perfect. I started looking for whatever shuttle with a name on a sticker similar to drive and park. I waited half and hour, nothing. I called, they said it's not possible, I asked what car they had (the answer was a white ford transit), good I started looking precisely for that car. When I saw one it had Carl.de printed everywhere and I thought it was not the right one, but then on the door there was the sticker, not really visible. Come on everybody has its shuttle with the big name printed everywhere and you show up with multiples names?! Then We were at least 20 people waiting for that shuttle (on a Sunday night 11:50 pm), luckily I had not any baggage and I jumped straight into the van. Frustrating experience on the way back since at that time, having to wait 30-45 minutes makes a big difference. Sorry, but it was unpleasant.
